American actress and singer, Kira Kosarin has announced that she has been battling the coronavirus for a while after she tested positive for COVID-19 a few days ago. Kira is a Nickelodeon icon who is popular for her role as Phoebe Thunderman in the superhero sitcom, The Thundermans.
She made this known in a recent post on her Instagram page where she narrated some of her experiences with the virus.
She wrote, “Hi friends. I wanted to wait till I was feeling better to let you know, but I've been fighting COVID-1 9 the last couple weeks.
LA is the most infected city in the world right now, and so despite being careful and cautious last 9 months, I managed to get the virus.
My symptoms have been very manageable, that of a bad cold/ mild flu. The hardest part has been the ongoing lack of taste and smell (it’s far more disorienting and disheartening than I could have imagined!), but other than that (and some lingering cough/fatigue), I'm on the mend now.
Others won't be so lucky, so please please continue to take precautions, wear your mask, social distance as much as possible, and stay safe. Love you guys ❤”
In a follow-up post, Kira thanked her asymptomatic boyfriend, Max Chester, for taking care of her during this time.
