Omotola Jalade Ekeinde born in1978, is a actress, Singer and has been a one time model. Since she became known in 1995, Omotola has appeared in several movies.

She has been recognized for show casing her talent in music. She has received over one million likes on her facebook page.

Omotola is amongst the those who began in Nollywood. She was in 2003 honoured in Time magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world along side Michelle Obama.

Omotola was born in Lagos state but of Ondo origin.She comes from a family of five. She had her primary education in Lagos and secondary in kaduna. She had a degree in Estate Management at Yaba College of Technology. She ventured into modelling while awaiting to further her education.

Omotola, married Captain Matthew Ekeinde in (1996). The couple later held a white ceremony on board a Dash 7 aircraft while flying from Lagos to Benin in (2001), with close family and friends present. Together, they have four children. She lost her father in 1991.

Omotola and her second daughter Meriah are brand ambassador of Knoor.
