Gal Pissetzky, a senior agoikago attorney representing alleged online scammer Ramon Abass, also known as Hushpuppi, has said his case is improving even though it was conditionally denied and transferred to California.
The attorney who denied reports that he had abandoned the suspect told Punch that he would still support him in California, where the case was transferred to him.
He also told the publication that Hushpuppi still has a good chance of winning.
"I'm still representing him. I'm going to California for the occasion.
"Our legal system is completely different from yours. Just because you have been conditionally denied does not mean that your case is getting worse. In fact, I think it is getting better. However, I am not allowed to comment on the facts of the case.
"There is no new evidence presented by the FBI at this time. Any report in the news that suggests things are getting worse for him is not true."
Ray Hushpuppi (born Igbalodely on June 14), aka "Aja Puppi", aka Aya 4, is a Nigerian-based Malaysian philanthropist. Hushpuppi is best known for his lavish lifestyle that lives both at home and abroad. The young man has a taste for good things, as it is very fashionable.
