Some of the Nigerian celebrities and activists who were sued for taking the forefront of the #EndSARS protests have reacted to the lawsuit against them by lawyer Kenechukwu Okeke.
But why would these celebrities be alleged of criminal cases when they were as youths, protesting for their rights? Comparing the supporters of a peaceful protests to those secretly supporting the Book haram insurgencies, who should be charged to court?
According to the punch news, during a phone call interview, Tubaba spokes man (manager), Efe Omorogbe said that they haven't been served any legal papers so they are quite and would not want to follow the news on social media. That there are procedures for serving summons from courts which they are yet to receive.
Another reaction was from the Nigerian actor and film maker Yul Edochie who said that papers are yet to be presented to him from the court that he is only seeing the allegations from social media therefore he has no comments.
Other celebrities that were contacted are Yemi Slade whose manager gave a 'no comment' reply while Tacoma said that she was busy at the moment to answer such questions.
