7 years later
She finally boarded the plane back to Lagos and she got there on a Friday. Her father, now retired, picked her up from the airport and drove her home where she met her mother and they celebrated her return. Her mother left the United States two years before she did...
Her dad told her to visit the old arcade...
A young man walked out of an office building. He was dressed corporately in designer suit and tie. Two younger men were running after him and trying to get him to sign a contract. The young successful man was Jaiye. He entered his car.
"Home?" his driver asked
"Nah, we're going somewhere else"
Tomi walked to the arcade, seeing the neighborhood still looking the same brought memories back. She was wearing a silver necklace with a half heart pendant. When she got to the arcade, she saw a white car parked in front of it. A man got out of the back seat. He was also wearing a silver necklace with a half heart pendant. He was wearing sunglasses but she could still recognize him, Her Jaiye.
"Tomi, how have you been?"
She ran towards him and they hugged.
"I missed you, Tomi."
"I missed you too."
