Hello guys! Nigerians are still pretty hyped up after two of their biggest stars, Wizkid and Burna Boy both got wins at the 63rd Grammy Awards. Burna Boy got the award for best contemporary album of the year for his "Twice As Tall" album. While Wizkid got a grammy for his part in the "Brown Skin Girl" song featuring Beyonce and Saint Jhn with vocals from Blue Ivy.
Popular Nigerian Artiste, Davido, did not get any recognition though. At first, he remained silent on their wins but after fans started calling him out due to his silence which they cited as jealousy. He has since come out to congratulate the two afro beat Artiste on their newest achievements. He said that however we looked at it, it was a win for Nigerians in general. He also encouraged them to do greater things.
I think this is great gesture from David considering how he put their issues aside to congratulate them.
