One of the sympathisers and actress under tutelage of late Murphy Afolabi, Fatima has opened up that the sudden death of Osogbo born actor didn't allow him to fulfil promises he made for her.

Fatima in a tearful mood during the fidau prayer organized for late actor in Osogbo said Murphy Afolabi was the person that made her to step on Lagos land. According to Fatima while speaking with BBC News Yoruba, said Murphy Afolabi gave her all the necessary support to thrive in theater industry.

Fatima said she successfully featured in five movies with the support of her late mentor and boss, Murphy Afolabi.
Also speaking at the fidau prayer; Vice Chairman, Osogbo Local Government Area, Hon. Ademoye Kolawole said Murphy's death came to him as a rude shock. Mr. Kolawole said he debunked the news when it was circulating on internet but later confirmed to be true.
