Over the past years Nigeria have been recognized globally as the giant of Africa in the world of entertainment across Africa. Good performing Nigeria artist have been in the job of feeding the world with good vibes and great sounds. One of such artist is Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie popularly known by his state name Patoranking. The Alubarikar crooner was born on the 27 May 1990 in Ijegun-Egba, Alimosho, Lagos state.
Patoranking have created an edge for himself with his genre of music, an infusion of reggae and dancehall with a Nigerian twist. His success story can be labeled "from grass to grace". Although much is not known about his grassroot stories while living in the ghetto where he grew up.
According to him in an interview, he said his stage name Patoranking was given to him by a friend who he meet at the beach playing guitar.
Before he became an household name he was first a dancer at street jams and carnival, not only that Before he was first selling rat poisons and working as a bricklayer same time to make ends meet before fame caught up with him.
Currently he is an award winner and a multimillion. The artist revealed that one of his greatest achievements is moving his
family from the ghetto. His hard work has paid off and he is now living the life he has always imagined.
