Kenneth Obinna Okolie is a Nigerian actor and model who was crowned Mr Nigeria in 2010 and in 2015 won the City People Movie Award for Best Supporting Actor of the Year (English) at the City People Entertainment Awards.
He Hails from Ihiala in Anambra state a southeastern geographical area of Nigeria predominantly occupied by the igbo people of Nigeria. Okolie is the first born child of his parents and has three siblings.
He got his primary education from Stepping Stone and Learning Field Primary Schools and attended St. Jude’s College for his secondary education. Kenneth Okolie attended the Igbinedion University, Nigeria, for his first degree and later enrolled for further studies at Valley View University, a private university in Ghana, where he studied Marketing
He began his modelling job in 2006 by accident when he accompanied a friend to a shoot. He was scouted there and then.
In 2010, four years after debuting his modeling career, Okolie participated in the Mr Nigeria male pageant and won. Okolie after winning the pageant, proceeded to the Mister World pageant and emerged as the second runner.
Then he began his acting in 2011 and has starred in different films such as ‘’Aina’’ (2011), ‘’Keeping my Man’’ (2013), ‘’House Husband’’ (2015), ‘’Gbomo Gbomo Express’’ (2015), ‘’The Department’’ (2015), Birthday’’ (2016) and many others.
Okolie married Nwaka Jessica in 2017 and in 2019 gave birth to their first child.
