As we can all recall how there were unimaginable surprises some few hours ago, when there was a live report of the little drama that unfolded as Daniel Pondei, the Acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), appeared to have fainted when the House of Representatives committee on NDDC interrogated him.

Now, the good news is that Prof Pondei is reported to have left the hospital, where he was taken to after the incident, as the halted proceedings are now expected to continue.
The committee has earlier grilled him concerning the 536m naira paid to a group associated with 'Save The Lives of Niger Delta People', before his dramatic slump paused the meeting.
