Few days ago, Wizkid’s smashing hit song “Essence” featuring Tems became the most shazamed song in the United States of America. This was made known officially by the music streaming company.

 

What this news means is that, Wizkid’s Essence was vastly searched and listened to in a location where he is not so quite popular. It means also that, Wizkid’s popularity in the US has catapulted or on an all-time high at the moment. The summer hit song has attracted remixes from Justin Beiber, Dababy and a lot of international acts.

When WizKid’s dropped the “Made In Lagos” album, the song that quickly grabbed the attention of fans was “Essence” which featured Tems on it. It was a melodious rendition that was so beautiful to listen. From the start to the end, Wizkid and Tems did magic to the song. Their voices was harmonized in coherence with the instrumentals and the output was a sweet melody to the ears, body and soul.
