The Nigerian music entertainment is taking a new spin with lots of creative acts coming into play. The evolution of Nigerian music has made a bridge between different ethnic groups, tribes and different countries entirely. Nigerian artistes like Davido, Wizkid, Olamide, and Phyno can boldly sell out shows in foreign countries.
To my understanding, the Nigeria music industry might change in the coming years as these 3 people in my opinion would take the music industry to another level.
If you are a music lover, and you listen to rising stars then, you would know that the 3 people I am going to mention in this article are going to make a huge impact in the music industry both locally and internationally.
Below are the list of fast rising Nigerian Artistes that might take over the music industry:
Daniel Benson popularly known as Buju or ”Buju to your ears” is a 22-year-old fast rising Nigerian musician. Buju has been in the music industry since 2018 and has greatly impacted in a lot of people through his melodious music.
He is a singer, songwriter and a pianist who hails from Akwa ibom state.
The year 2021 has been life changing for the talented act as 3 of his songs emerged the top 5 best in Nigeria.
Ani Jeremiah Chukwuebuka popularly known as Jeriq or ”Jeriq the hussla” is a fast rising eastern based rapper and songwriter. The 23-year-old music star is a graduate from Enugu State University of Science and Technology.
Jeriq's music is based on motivation as he uses his gift to keep young youths on the right path to life regardless of challenges and distractions encountered.
The latest project from the youngster is titled ”East And West” in conjunction with Nigerian rapper Dremo. The extended playlist is themed at uniting the Eastern and Western parts of the country.
Anthony Ebuka Victor is a 20-year-old fast rising rapper, singer and songwriter popularly known as Victony. The fast rising act hails from Imo state where he is also in pursuit of B.Eng at the federal University of technology Owerri, FUTO.
Victony's career started in 2017 but came to light in 2020 after his extended playlist titled ” Saturn” broken records on top streaming platform accumulating more than a million streams.
Unfortunately, the year 2021 hasn't been quite good for the youngster as he was involved in a ghastly accident which almost claimed his life. His current situation is much better, and hopefully he gets back on his feet to continue his music career.
The artistes mentioned above are not just talented but also inspiring. We need to encourage them to keep up the good works. You can also mention other rising stars you think would make a great impact in the Nigerian music industry.
