Tears As Popular Highlife Musician, Chief Morocco Was Laid To Rest In His Hometown

Our living in this world has proven to be shorter than most of us thought, we live today to die tomorrow and the circle continues without interruption irrespective of your social or political status.

Just today an icon of Nigerian entertainment industry (Chief Emeka Morocco Maduka) was laid to rest in his hometown, Umuagam Village Ukwulu, in Anambra State.

Recall he was pronounced death on 29th October 2020, a news that came as total shock to most of us who weren't expecting him to join his ancestors so soon. According to report on Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) he died at the age pf seventy six years (76years), survived by wife, Mrs Bridget and his seven children.

The name Emeka Morocco is an household name in almost all families in Southeast, while alive he worked so hard in the music industry which earned him the name "Eze Egwu Ekpili"

Attached in this article are photos taken during the funeral rites, we lost a great icon to cold hands of death but our prayers is that he will find rest in the blossom of our Lord Jesus.

On that note I extend my condolence to the family he left behind and pray that God will strengthen you guys.
