We have many talented people in the Nigerian entertainment industry who are doing well. However, for most of them, it took reality TV shows for their fans to discover them. Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Iyanya came to the limelight after winning the first season of the MTN Project Fame West Africa TV show. It was after he won the show that millions of people started recognizing him and probably started looking up to him.

Lagos State-born singer, Niniola Apata hit the limelight after finishing as the 3rd Runner-up in the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa. After getting the necessary recognition she wanted, she went into music and has released many singles including “Maradona”, one of her hit songs.
Ebuka Obi Uchendu was one of the Big Brother Naija Season one housemates contesting for the grand prize. Although he didn't win the show, he made a big name for himself in the entertainment industry. He is currently the host of the BBNaija reality TV show.

Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Chike-Ezekpeazu Osebuka aka Chike got famous after he participated in the Project Fame West Africa show. Thereafter, he finishes second place in Season 1 of The Voice Nigeria. After he became famous, he went on to release dope songs.
5. Omawumi Megbele

Omawumi Megbele got into the limelight back in 2017 after emerging as the 1st Runner-up on the first edition of the West African Idols' music competition. This set the ball rolling for her when her first single ‘In The Music’ endeared music lovers to her.
