Wizkid is one of Nigeria's biggest export in music turned 30 today, and there has been a huge party on Twitter as it is.
Wizkid has been at the top of his game for a decade and has become a global phenomenon by doing so.
He has inspired so many young people today to believe that achieving any dream is possible if you fight for it.
However with this kind of responsibility also comes a cross. The difficulty of dealing with fans. Their wishes, aspirations and desires. You forever become a screen where they project all manner of longings that they hope will get attention.
Some eventually go as far as becoming stalkers, getting deranged from failed expectations or even depressed and in extreme cases suicidal when they can't be with their idols the way they envision.
Fiona Peace a Nigerian Wizkid fan who said that the happiest day of her life was when Wizkid walked up to her, held her hand and said she should believe that anything is possible. And then pecked her before walking away.
Fiona reminisces that that day has been the best day of her life. Is it possible for someone to be obsessed about another person this much. Does Wizkid deserve this? I don't think he is the most handsome or influential artiste in Nigeria. I am just me, but Fiona Peace clearly doesn't agree or does she?
