Reactions as Dr Harvey points out a major hypocrisy going on in Nigerian Churches.

They have been situations where members of a religious sect or church are told how to dress, eat, walk, sit, stand and even sleep. The founders of such sects or churches set the laws guiding their members. However,in most cases the rules and regulations for their adherents in one part of the world is different from another.

Speaking on the issue as it concerns Nigerians, Social media influencer and medical Doctor Olufunmilayo Harvey, popularly known as OurFavOnlineDoc frowned at the situation where pastors and Christian artists invited from the western world are allowed to do exact things they will demonize their members in Nigeria for.

Using Travis Greene as an example, he said, "Travis Greene has dreads. Travis Greene has coloured hair. Travis Greene is wearing chain. He's performing at the Experience now and we all see him beyond all of that. I hope we extend this love and understanding to Nigerians in our churches and society who dress like this."

Travis Montoriuos Greene is an American gospel musician and pastor. Travis alongside his wife leads Forward City Church in Columbia, South Carolina.

In response to OurFavOnlineDoc, Popular Nollywood veteran,Kate Henshaw said, "he is from abroad so it's accepted... Slave mentality exists here.."

Another commentator,@Dannyblaze1999 recounted his ugly experience in church when he said, "I weaved my hair to church and I was told am a disgrace to the church and am an embarrassment... WTF,all the pictures I have seen Jesus,he has long hair and he keeps beards. So how am I a disgrace?"
