Top five most fashionable female celebrities in Nigeria

Nigerians is known to have some of the most fashionable people in the world and their fashion sense have gone far to develop their pomp and pageantry in the entertainment industry. Gone are the days when we only look up to the white celebrities for their fashion goals when it comes to red carpets and premiers.

Nigerian celebrities keep getting more and more glamorous and elaborate by the day thereby adding colour to our screens and events. Their social media page is not left out as their posts about fashion are enough to instruct a willing learner about how to dress- to- kill. In this article I am going to list five Nigeria female celebrities whose fashion sense is not something to joke about.

Toke Makinwa

Toke Makinwa was born on the 3rd of November 1984, in Lagos state. She attended the Federal Government Girls' College in Oyo State. Makinwa later attended the University of Lagos, where she earned a BA degree in English and literature. On 15 January 2014, Makinwa married Maje Ayida, whom she had been involved with for eight years. I n 2015, she separated from Ayida after discovering that he had impregnated his ex-girlfriend. On 5 October 2017, Makinwa's marriage to Ayida was dissolved by a Lagos High Court on the grounds that Ayida committed adultery. In 2012, she made a television appearance as host of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) beauty pageant, which was broadcast live across Nigeria. She also co-hosted Flytime TV's 3 Live Chicks, along with Tosyn Bucknor and Oreka Godis. The show debuted as a web series before expanding to terrestrial television in late 2012. Makinwa did not renew her contract with Flytime TV for the show's second season and was subsequently replaced by her radio colleague Omalicha. In 2012, Makinwa launched her YouTube vlog series Toke Moments. 

In January 2014, Hip Hop World Magazine announced Makinwa as the host of its interview and talk series Trending. She also secured a spot on EbonyLife TV as a co-host of its flagship show Moments. 

Makinwa has hosted numerous number of events,including the 2013 Future and City People Awards, as well as the 2014 Headies Awards.

2. Ini Dima Okojie

 Ini is a native of Edo State, she was born and raised in Lagos, on the 24th of June She obtained her international relations degree from Covenant University and took an acting course at the New York Film Academy. Dima-Okojie resigned from her job in the finance industry to pursue a career in entertainment.Her film career began in 2014 when she played "Feyisayo Pepple" in the television series, Taste of Love.In 2016, she played "Hadiza Ahmed" in the film North East; her character was an Islamic lady who began a romantic relationship with a man from a different religious background.she was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 2017 Nigeria Entertainment Awards, for her role her role and in the film(North East). Dima-Okojie was also nominated for Most Promising Actress at City People Movie Awards around the same time.

Dima-Okojie is also noted to have a strong fashion sense, with Pulse Nigeria and other media outlets describing her as one of the most stylish celebrities in Nigeria.In 2017, she was nominated for The Future Awards prize for acting. Dima-Okojie has cited Majid Michel and Richard Mofe-Damijoas her favourite Nollywood actors.

3.sharon ooja


Ooja is a Benue state indigene who was born in Kaduna State and bred in Plateau State. She started her acting career when she moved to Lagos in 2013.[3] She is a graduate of mass communication from Houdegbe North American University in Benin Republic. She hosted GT Bank's Fashion week red carpet alongside Timini Egbuson in 2017. She is well known for the movie skinny girls on transit

4. Nancy Isime

Isime was born in Edo State. She was born on the 17th of December 1991. She studied for a course in Social Work for two years at the University of Lagos. In 2009, Isime won the Miss Valentine International beauty pageant, and finished second in the Miss Telecoms Nigeria beauty contest. As a model she worked for the likes of House of Marie, Ade Bakere, Adebayo Jones, Zizi Cardow, Shakara Couture, Konga Online and others.Isime began a career as an actress in the TV series Echoes in 2011. She appeared in several films in 2014. Isime is also a television presenter, known for presenting gossip show The Squeeze, technology show What’s Hot and backstage segments of MTN Project Fame season seven. In 2016 she replaced Toke Makinwa as the presenter of the popular show Trending on HipTV. She co-hosted the 2019 edition of The Headies award with Reminisce.

5 Rita Dominic

Rita Dominic is a member of the Royal Nwaturuocha family of Aboh Mbaise local government area in Imo State.She is the youngest of four children. Her late parents were health care professionals, her father was a medical doctor and mother a nursing officer. Rita Dominic attended the prestigious Federal Government College Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria, before heading to the University of Port Harcourt, where she graduated with a BA (Honours) Degree in Theatre Arts in 1999. Dominic started performing as a child, appearing in school plays and children's television shows in Imo State. In 1998 she starred in her first movie, A Time to Kill. She won the City People Awards in 2004 as the Most Outstanding Actress. She has starred in over 100 Nollywood productions.you are free to name who else you think should be on the list.
