Despite all that is going on in the world, there are some random acts of kindness that just completely proves that there's still good in mankind. One of them is this incident that happened between Selena Gomez and her friend Francia Raise.
Back in 2017, Selena Gomez was at the worst possible point in her life after she discovered that her autoimmune disorder (Lupus) had led to irreparable damage in one of her kidneys. This means she needed to get a transplant as soon as possible or she could lose her life.
For someone who had grown up sheltered and had never known lack, that was a big eye opener for her, she needed someone to donate a healthy kidney for her or she could literally die. Fortunately, amidst the sea of fans and friends and family, her long time friend Francia Raise eventually came through for her and donated her own kidney to help keep the star alive and safe. Selena had known Francia since she was 14 but they weren't really the best of friends, Franca just did it out of the goodness of her heart and it's a beautiful tale to remember.
Check out some photos of this gorgeous lady, Francia and her friend, Selena below.
