Afro-pop star and DMW boss Davido has officially signed May D to his record label. The proud father of three for some time now has been off from social media. According to him, he needs time for himself and also place himself first before any other person. Even at that, the 30bg boss has not stopped from doing what he knows how to do best, lifting others up.
Take it or leave it, Davido has been a blessing to the Nigerian music industry. He keeps helping upcoming and struggling artists revive their careers. If you would recall years back, Davido signed Sauce kid moment after he was released from jail in a bid to revive his career. He did the same for Dammy Krane also, now it is May d. Congratulations to May D on this one. At least the music industry will be expecting something big from him.
With his inclusion to the label, DMW now houses about three songwriters in the person of Perruzi, Mayorkun and the latest being May D. Giving him a contract is a good move by DMW as he is not just a singer but also a songwriter which the now-defunct Psquare can attest to. May D is sure a bundle of talent, signing him will surely pay off.
