Nigeria music industry has widened as many young talents are joining the industry everyday. We have various hip-pop artists, those with rap musics and many others. This is the reason why only the best of best could make it to this list.

As at 2020, these are the top 4 richest musicians in Nigeria:

1 Wiskid- $24 million

Popularly known as Wiskid, but his real name is Ayo Ibrahim Balogun. He hails from Surulere, Lagos Nigeria. He started his music career at the age of 11. He produced songs like Pakurumo, Don't Dull, Ojuelegba, Jaiye Jaiye. He got an international recognition when he collaborated with Drake in 2016.

He has a lot of endorsement deals with companies like Glo, Pepsi etc. Wiskid has managed to earn his impressive $24 million and buy two houses in Nigeria and US. He also owns a Porsche Panamera, Mercedez Benz and BMW X6. He is the richest musician in Nigeria.

2. Davido- $19 million

Davido is the second richest musician in Nigeria. Christianed as David Adeleke, he hails from the Adeleke's family in Ede Osun state. The Adeleke's family are the richest in the state and one of the richest families in south western Nigeria.

Davido didn't start from the scratch, although, he is hard-working. He produced Aye, Skelewu, Assurance and other mind-blowing songs.

3. Burna boy- $15 million

Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu Rex, known professionally as Burna Boy, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.

He is one of the sensational acts in the recent Era. He loves to live a lavish and extravaganza-laden lifestyle.

Burna Boy’s growth as a rap artist was genuinely remarkable. He rose to fame in 2012 through his song titled, "like the party".

4. Olamide- $14 million 

Olamide started his music career at the age of 11. He is one of those musicians who had a rugged beginning. He came into limelight after producing Eniduro and Omotoshan.

He often said music was his gift, his life, his hustle and his world and therefore he has to explore it. He also helped many artists to come into limelight- Lil Kesh is a living testimony.

He revealed to the public on 18th of February, 2020 that his record label, YBNL Nation has signed a Joint Venture deal with international distribution company , Empire.
