Nicki Minaj is facing the pressure of fame and regrets not having therapy early in her career

Popular American female rapper, Nicki Minaj is going through the pressure of fame and regrets not having therapy in her early career days.

The most recent stress she is facing is the arrest of her husband for not registering as a sex offender in California.

Her husband, 'Petty' was convicted for attempted rape in 1995. He pleaded not guilty for failing to register.

Nicki has been in the news for a lot of reasons mostly because of her relationships with Ex, Meek Mill, her brother and now her husband.

She has also had her fair share of fights with rapper with celebrities like Cardi B and Maria Carey amongst others.

Nicki had this to say on 'Rupaul's podcast: “I wish I went to therapy when I first got famous.

She went on to say: "The industry hit me like a truck. I read everything on social media and it scars you."

“It made me put up a defence mechanism for my whole career.

She also said: "I did one session with a guy in New York but then I moved to LA and never followed up on it. I think I’m going to move back to New York. I want to set up shop there.”

Celebrities break down too and we hope Nicki finds help to cope and handle this pressure tied to her fame real soon.
