The incident which was confirmed by the news agency, (BBC NEWS IGBO), was said to have happened along Nnewi-Nnobi road today, the 2nd of February 2021, in the afternoon.
It was not reported if there was any casualty, but from the pictures which surfaced online, the Igbo gospel music singer was seen without any bruises. He however looked pale and sad following the incident.
There were people who gathered around his white Toyota Corolla vehicle which was seen inside the gutter. They probably gathered to understand what has transpired and possibly help the situation.
We are happy that Gozie Okeke is safe, and we thank God for preserving his life. The cause of the accident was however not revealed by BBC NEWS Igbo.
It is our earnest that God preserves us through this year, so that we may not fall victims of road accidents. It is also advisable that we follow traffic rules and most importantly, quit having a divided attention while driving. Any little mistake while driving might cost a life. Let us all stay safe.
