A film director, Ugezu J. Ugezu has written a strong warning to his fans against sending 'happy new month' wishes to him. The film director made this known on his official Instagram page today.
Recall that today, 1st of July Is the beginning of the month. Ugezu revealed that he has been receiving many wishes from his friends and fans since morning. Check out the screenshot below to read his message.
Ugezu wrote; "If only people knew how I hate all these classless and Nigerianized happy new month wishes, they will stop sending them to me. Can people just do their happy new month without Involving me?" He quizzed
Based on the post, the nollywood director expresses his hatred for happy new month wishes. He also categorized the wishes as a practice which Is peculiar to the Nigerian society.
Apart from being a film director, Ugezu Is also an Icon of African culture and tradition. He Is popularly known as the global masquerade among his fans.
