I was treated with respect.
Unlike the way every media was talking about and portraying the incident, Chiwetalu Agu said, he was given the maximum respect and honour that he deserved. This is to make it clear that the Nigeria security force are not as bad as many average Nigerians think.
The statement that says "The Police is your friend" is absolutely true. What many tagged as injustice or harassment is simply a way of enforcing law and order.
Every officer wanted to interact with me.
Talking about the music industry, Chiwetalu Agu is one of the oldest movie actors that is well respected in the industry. For this reason, Chiwetalu Agu said every officer is interested in his case because they want to interact. Though, Chiwetalu Agu was in the DSS custody, but he got all the respect he wanted.
This is for every Nigerian, it pays to move closer to that person before judging. Judging people by what other says can be so costly.
