Akindele Bello Olufunke Ayotunde prominently known as Jenifa is a Nigerian Actress and producer.Funke featured in the sitcom I have to know from 1998 to 2002, and in 2009 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
She plays the lead character in the show Jenifa's Diary for which she was named Best Actress in a Comedy at the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award.
Akindele came into the spotlight subsequent to featuring in well known United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) supported sitcom I Need to Know, which ran from 1998 to 2002. Funke played Bisi, an inquisitive yet profoundly smart optional school understudy. Funke Akindele's enormous break came in 2008 when she showed up in the film Jenifa.
Funke Akindele runs a non-governmental organisation known as the Jenifa Foundation, which aims at providing young people with vocational skills.
She has also featured in many movies including Yoruba and English movies and she has produced many movies of her own the likes of omo ghetto, jenifa and others.

Akindele wedded Nigerian rapper JJC Skillz in London in May 2016. Rumors about her pregnancy overwhelmed look on Google internet searcher in August 2017. Akindele brought forth twin young men in December 2018 and has a few stage youngsters.
