Idowu Philips (aka Iya Rainbow), a popular veteran Nollywood actress, asked for something surprising from God after her 79th birthday on October 16, 2021. In the recent interview she had with Sunday Scoop, Iya Rainbow revealed that she would love to live up to 120 years before she dies.
Many people have been wondering why the actress made such request when everyone is very aware that living up to 120 years is a very slim chance, but possible. Even if someone makes it up to that age, there are possibilities that he or she may not be physically sound to do some basic things in life. At least, this is the excuse some people give, they tell you that they only want to live between the ages of 80 to 100. Iya Rainbow equally gave the reason she requested for such age from God, and I believe that this reason is worth noting.
Why Iya Rainbow wants to live up to 120 years before she dies and why this reason should be noted by people.
In the interview Iya Rainbow had with Sunday Scoop, she disclosed that she is currently carrying out the work of God as she now owns a church where she does the work of God always. She, however, explained that she asked God for 120 years because she needs more time to do the work of God.
In my opinion, this is one of the best reasons ever provided by anyone asking God for long life. Some people ask for long life just because they want to continue enjoying their material things in life. Iya Rainbow has asked for long life just because she wants to continue to do God's work and also win more souls in her ministration job on Earth. This is a good lesson from everyone and especially Christian followers.
Whenever you are asking God for long life, make sure the reason you are asking for long life is to make your longer stay a blessing to the World and not the opposite. Your stay must add value to other people's lives not destroy them.
