Genevieve Nnaji is a Nigerian actress, producer and director. She was born on 3 may 1979, she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for the Best Actress in a leading role in 2005, making her the first actor to win the award.
Genevieve Nnaji is the fourth of eight children in her family, her father was an engineer and her mother worked as a nursery School teacher.
Genevieve Nnaji is a very strong lady and a woman activist to go with it. She is against arranged marriages and early marriages for the girl child. She feels women should be able to make decisions of their own and do whatever they feel like doing. Genevieve Nnaji gave birth to her daughter Chimebuka when she was still a teenager at age 17.
