BBNaija winner and Nigerian singer Laycon has come out to react to the post of a popular betting page on Twitter in which his picture was used to mock Arsenal’s performance in the Premier League. One of the most memorable days during the BBNaija show was when the housemates were asked to dress up for a Halloween party, in which they were given a custom that represented some superheroes, Laycon’s custom was that of Dead Pool and a lot of people mocked him that night because his custom was considered to be poor.
Although he saw that the custom was bad, he didn’t complain much and he rocked the custom that way, many made fun of him that night and many of his fans were seen defending him online as they were dragging the organizers of BBNaija to stop giving him ridiculous outfits.
Now the picture us trending online as the online betting platform has used the picture to relate to Arsenals performance in the Premier League while using the original Dead Pool character to represent their performance in the Europa League.
Laycon replying to the tweet made it known that he’s the one that was posted and that he’s an international artist from Nigeria and that he will be dropping his album by the end of the month, his reply has made many appreciate him because he used the opportunity to sell himself instead of attacking the page.
