Popular Nigeria Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, has deemed fit to wade in on the naira/old notes scarcity which is currently making Nigerians lament. Apparently, it seems as if the 51 year old actress has had a bit of her own share regarding how commercial banks are reportedly rejecting the old naira notes being disbursed by the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Taking to her official Twitter handle some moments ago, the outspoken actress urged the governor of Central Bank, Mr Godwin Emefiele, to find a better solution to the ongoing naira crisis.
While reacting via her verified Twitter handle, she wrote; "@cenbank is giving out old, dirty notes to people, 5k and 10k max. To deposit same old notes into your account, you have to go to their portal and fill a form before your bank will accept it. @godwinemefiele, what kind of hardship are you putting on citizens"? This observation and concern from the actress has generated much reactions from netizens who saw it as they took to her comment section to drop their opinions. Below are some screenshots of some reactions.
