Kannywood Film Magazine has recently held an interview with Tijjani Abdullahi Asase. The actor and producer has vowed to remain law abiding. He also dismissed the speculations that his drama series (A Duniya) is promoting heinous activities. He stressed that the show is aim at promoting good behaviours by showing the consequences of immorality.
He was quoted as saying" Kano State Film and Censorship Board should please learn from the measures taken by National Film Censorship Board. The National body has ordered filmmakers to be showing the consequences of thuggery and other immoral behaviours.
My drama series is not promoting the use of hard drugs and thuggery. The show is only sending strong message to anybody who want to spoil his life. I always welcome corrections, I will remove any portion of my drama that is deemed wrong. I'm ready to stop producing the drama if government asked me to do so".
