Poverty is bad; if Patoranking can be successful after selling rat poison, you too can be. Most successful men we see and envy passed through tough and hard times. Most of them suffered more than us. No matter the condition you are now, someone has been in your position now and came out of it to be successful. Who would see Patoranking now and think he once sold rat poison or was a bricklayer? Absolutely no one.
Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, popularly known by his stage name Patoranking, is a Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter. Patoranking is from Ebonyi state, but he was born in a area of Lagos known as Ijegun-Egba Satellite Town.
Patoranking during his Headies award in 2014, revealed his humble background, how he passed through hard time to become successful. He said that he used to sell rat poison and was once a bricklayer to survive and push his career.
Who ever is looking for motivation, Patoranking story is a big motivation. Selling rat poison is the height of it all.
