Opinion: 3 Lessons All Movie Stars Should Learn From The Life And Death Of Chadwick

Chadwick Aaron Boseman (November 29, 1976-August 28, 2020) was an American Actor and Producer. He played several historical figures in many blockbuster movies. The one that made him popular was the Black Panther (2018) which made him an international star, winning him an NAACP image Award and a screen Actors Guild Award. He died on August 28, 2020 after privately dealing with colon cancer for four years. Such resilience from Chadwick, may his gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

In this article, I will be talking about the 3 lessons all movie stars should learn from the life and death of Black Panther.

1. Life is short and we shouldn't waste it doing what we don't love:

Chadwick loved what he was doing and died doing what he loved doing . Marvel studios President CCO Keviches has this to say about the late Boseman.."Each time he stepped on set, he radiated charisma and joy, and each time he appeared on screen, he created something truly indelible.

2. He was a Christian who believed so much in prayer:

Bossman Chadwick was raised a Christian and was baptized. He was part of a church choir and youth group and his former Pastor said that he still kept his faith. Boseman had stated that he prayed to be the Black Panther before he was cast as the titular in the Marvel cinematics universe. I think other movie stars should borrow a leaf from him and believe in the only true God. They shouldn't let fame or money take the place of God in their life. God is the only best option. Movie stars should be prayerful and let God lead the way.

3. Resilience: Boseman was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, which eventually progress to stage IV before 2020. He had never spoken publicly about his cancer diagnosis. During treatment, involving multiple surgeries and chemotherapy, he continued to work and completed production for several films. That's something every movie star should have. Resilience is the key that opens the door to so many opportunities.
