Recently, A video went viral showing Nigerian singer, Wizkid performing at an event. In the video, the singer was seen speaking harshly to the photographers at the event as they were preventing him from seeing his fans.
He chased away the photographers from the front of the stage saying "I did not come to see you". He told them to get out of there as he wants to see his fans directly. Watch the video here
Although Wizkid has tangible reasons for chasing away the photographers, it also seems bad. Below are reasons why Wizkid should not have chased away photographers while performing at an event
1. They are also his fans
Although they are photographers at the event, Wizkid shouldn't have chased them away because they are also his fans. They might not be the real audience but they are also among the Wizkid Fans Club (Wizkid FC). Therefore, they did not deserve to be talked to harshly.
2. They are doing their job
Some event planners employ photographers for their events. These photographers were employed, therefore they are doing their job. They shouldn't have been chased away by the singer. The main reason why they are in front of the stage is that that is the best angle they can get to take nice photos.
Above are reasons why Wizkid should have chased away photographers at the event. What do you think about these reasons? Do you think Wizkid is right? Share your thoughts.
