Children, they claim, are gifts from God, unfortunately not everyone always have that opportunity to get that gift from God. There was a time I believed that whenever a couple are finding it very difficult to give birth to a child, they should just opt for adoption, instead of stressing themselves up and down going to different churches looking for a miracle.
Interestingly, this is what another Nigerian model just agreed to. Monalisa Stephen, for those who do not really know her, is a plus-size model and actress. And this actress has told a reporter of the Sun newspaper, during an interview, that she will never give birth to children, and that she will prefer to go for the adoption of other kids.
Check some of her gorgeous photos below
She said and I quote;
“Yes, I am still standing on my decision not to have my own kids. It was a decision I took when I was 16. I will rather go for adoption than have my own children. In fact, I may dedicate my life work to catering to kids around the world. I hope my future husband will understand and respect my decision.”
I know that many people may not agree to what this actress has said, because they have been brainwashed with many unrealistic stories of how only your children can be of help to you. Many people have failed to realise the advantages of adopting a child or children.
For example, adopting a child may prevent the child from being later abandoned in the streets. Also, the issue of population will be mildly managed. I completely support this actress, and I hope her husband support her on a decision, because she has definitely followed the right part.
