Nigerian Celebrities Who Are Cheerful Givers

It is said that cheerful givers never lack and that is indeed the truth. It is a thing of joy to see the rich bless those who are less fortunate. These Nigerian celebrities have shown that givers never lack as their acts of kindness have never gone unnoticed and it is very visible that God continues to bless them because of their good works.

1.      Williams Uchemba

Williams Uchemba is known for his works of charity. In May 2020, the benevolent actor built a house for a family that lives in a slum. The family had been living in a slum for 13 years till God used Williams to change their lives. Williams revealed that he saw the family after he went to the slums to distribute Covid-19 palliatives. His attention was caught by a little girl reading on the pavement. After enquiring about where she lived, the actor was left heartbroken seeing the state of their home. The family also said that their ‘batcher’ house always got flooded during the rainy season. The lives of the family have turned around all thanks to God’s grace and Williams’ good heart.

Another move that melted the hearts of many was when he adopted an 18-year-old boy. Williams shared how he met the young boy working in a furniture shop he went to visit. After a discussion with the boy, he realized that he was a smart child but could not further his university education because of a lack of sponsors. The actor decided to adopt Demola to not only put him through school but also to serve as a mentor to the young chap.

2.      Davido

Everyone knows of OBO, he is one of the richest musicians in Nigeria but he is not just rich, he is also very kind. The talented musician has been seen as rewarding talents especially artists. The FEM crooner, rewarded a young designer, Odukoya Wasiu, with one million naira for photoshopping a picture of him with Wizkid. In December 2019, Davido gave out 1 million naira each to two of his fans on stage during a concert.

3.      Don Jazzy

Don Jazzy is another Nigerian celebrity who is using his wealth to touch lives. In December 2020, Don Jazzy decided to buy artwork from a fan for N300,000. The artwork by artist Fredrick Omoniyi was originally priced at N200,000 but the kind music producer decided to purchase it for N300,000 instead.

Also before the Big Brother Naija show went on air, Don Jazzy was announced as an ambassador for Betway. Don Jazzy took to Twitter to remind fans of the show when a lady commented that she had no TV to watch it. The producer then sent her N200,000 to get a TV and also a decoder so she could watch the show.

4.      Adekunle Gold

Adekunle Gold is not left out of this list as he too has shown great kindness. The talented highlife singer bought a female fan a brand new pair of AirPods. Adekunle Gold had rushed to the aid of the female fan after she tweeted that she urgently needed a set of AirPods. The singer sent the lady a direct message and in no time her AirPods were delivered to her along with a protective case.

5. Tonto Dikeh

Tonto is another celebrity who loves giving back. She has visited many orphanage and also done many humanitarian work.
