Mansa Musa or Musa 1of Mali was the ruler of the kingdom of Mali from 1312 CE to 1377 CE, in his reign Mali was the richest kingdom in Africa and was the richest individuals in the world, his ancient kingdom spread to mordern Mali, Senegal, the Gambia, Guinea, Niger,Mauritania and Burkina Faso and develop important cities like Timbuktu and Gao into cultural centers. He became well known after he went to Mecca for pilgrimage, passing through the Sahara desert and Egypt, his wealth is so much that it's impossible to give a number.
