Semah G is a talented young singer who was eventually brought to limelight by flavour.
Flavour discovered Semah in Liberia around March 2017 and ever since then the highlife superstar has been allowing God use him to change the boy’s life.
Semah was born blind and into poverty. He has been in the care of Monrovia-based NGO, Christian Association of the Blind. Life hasn’t been easy with him but young Semah didn't allow that kill his spirit. In spite of all life has put him through, Semah’s dream is to become a singer. Incredibly, even though he grew up far away from Lagos, he built love for flavour's kind of sound.
In an interview with Flavour who happens to be blind Semah's God sent he said the following
"I had two visually impaired friends back then in secondary school and I most say that those friendships changed my life.
I know we now live in a hypersensitive world where someone can find a simple ‘good morning, how was your night?’ greeting, offensive. But back then, my innocent mind didn’t know that calling someone ‘blind’ could be considered remotely indebted. But more important, seeing my two friends excel at anything in spite of their disability was really inspiring. From that moment on, I developed respect for every disabled person that was able to transcend their circumstance and make something out of their lives; Semah is as well on his way to doing the same. "
