A Spain bound drug Trafficker by name, Okonkwo Chimezie Henry, was arrested by the national drug law enforcement agency (NDLEA), at the Murtala Muhammed International airport, Ikeja, Lagos, on Saturday April 4, 2021.
The Trafficker who bases in Spain was kept under excretion observation and he excreted 113 wraps in five excretions. The 113 wraps of cocaine weighs 1.750 kilogram and sells for an approximate value of 423 million.
Mr. Femi Babafemi, director, media and advocacy, NDLEA said in a statement on Friday that Henry confessed to ingesting the illicit drugs in a hotel in Igando area of Lagos State and that he will soon be charged to court.
He further said that the suspect was about boarding a Turkish airline flight at about 8 p.m when he was caught.
