There are good numerous things Davido has done ever since he became famous in Nigeria, he has signed music artistes who initially had no hope of becoming someone significant in life, he helped them to achieve success and fame. Notable actresses like Toyin Abraham has also come out to talk about how this music artistes helped her when she was just coming up in her career.
These are some beautiful things Davido has done for the people around him without asking for anything in return, without coming to social media to brag about it. No doubt, this man has a good soul that cannot be changed by anything or anyone.
There are more reasons Davido may never be forgotten than just talking about how talented he is in music or how he has helped others achieve their dreams without looking for a payback. One of these reasons could be seen in the recent incident that took place in Benin where an airport staff wanted to take pictures with the celebrity but was pushed away by Davido's bodyguard. We cannot really blame the bodyguard for what he did, he was only doing his job.
Interestingly, little did we know that Davido later asked the airport staff to be called into the plane, and took photos with him. This information was contained in a news report on Linda Ikeji's blog on Instagram. This does not only show the good conduct of the music artiste, it has also shown that the artiste is a man who respects people from all calibres of life.
I believe that what Davido did will not only improve the self-esteem of this unnamed airport staff, but will also change his views about Nigerian celebrities. I believe that this gesture from Davido, as little as it may appear to some people, is one of the reasons why he may never be forgotten in the music industry.
