Kannywood actress Zainab Musa Booth, best known for her role in a popular Hausa film titled "Rashin Uwa" has died. She died on Friday after a long-term illness. 

The news of her death was announced by her daughter, actress Maryam Booth, on her Instagram page. She wrote that, with a deep sense of loss but total submission to Allah, they regret to announce the demise of their mother. The movie star died in the early hours of Friday. 

A lot of Kannywood stars have started to show their sympathy as Zainab is a great celebrity in the industry. Three of her children followed in her footsteps, currently, they are among the top celebrities in the North. Zainab had appeared in multiple movies and she mostly played the role of a mother. She passed away and left children and grandchildren including Ramadan Booth, Amude Booth, and Maryam Booth.
According to Ali Nuhu, the Janazah (funeral) will take place at 8:00am in the morning at her house which is located in Kano state.
