The Truth Why Chidi Ihezie Temporarily Left Acting (Photos)

Chidi Ihezie used to be one of the top rated Nollywood actresses in the early 2000, but the screen goddess stopped acting for some reasons well known to her.

Chidi was originally from Imo State in the south eastern part of Nigeria, but was born and brought up in Lagos State of South western Nigeria. She joined the Nigeria movie industry and started acting in 1993, but stopped acting after she got admission into Federal polytechnic Oko to study mass communication.

After her graduation from tertiary institution in 2000, she returned to acting and rose to fame after starring in Nollywood blockbuster movie “The Billionaires Club" in 2003. She has featured in countless movies since then.

Her calm and gentle look made many to love her as an actress, but suddenly at the peak of her career, Chidi Ihezie stopped appearing on Nollywood screen. She stopped acting at this point to have more babies and take care of her family was her reason during one of her interviews.

While she was absent from the movie industry, she was a presenter at ogene tv where they interview igbo speaking celebrities in their local language.

Now that she has stopped making babies, Chidi has returned to Nollywood and act movies once in a while, but she's fully into business. She has a store where she sells designers bag and luggage, also a beauty salon and spa, were ladies can walk in, make their hair, and get a good make up and massage.
