We are barely into quarter of the year 2021 and scandals with controversies have been the order of the year. Another scandal has hit the doors of popular Nigerian comedian and this time its not looking good.
Akpaokagi Adedoyin Maryann popularly known as Taooma is a content creator, cinematographer, youtuber, instagramer and internet personality. Born on the 28th of February, 1999 in Illorin, she started her comedy skits in 2015 after convincing her friend Abdulaziz Oladime to teach her the basics of video editing.
She first gained attention in 2016 and subsequently rose to stardom in 2019 with hilarious skits based on African parents taking their children to school. Taooma's comedy is centered on exposing African mothers and their unique way of disciplining the African child with a slap.
The young and vibrant comedian whose fame is not yet deeply rooted is currently having a fair share of scandals that is seen amongst Nigerian celebrities. In this case a young man Ola has complained about how she Taooma made rude remarks after giving out an unsatisfactory job .
According to Ola, he said Taooma was paid 1.5 million naira to shot a video and the client whom the video was shot for wasn't satisfied and when she was approach because of the work, she gave out a rude replying by telling them to "Take it or Leave it" .
Ola further said he didn't ask for a full refund but at least a sense of concession would have gone a long way in correcting the mess. He further went ahead to explain the difference between her and Maraji who is also a female comedian just like her.
Sometimes we can't really give out our best and when you know you have defaulted in giving your customer premium value for this money, you see how you can mend things and not just show them you do not care because you have taken the money.
