A popular Nigerian gospel singer with the name Lanre Teriba, also known as Atorise was attacked by unknown gunmen on Saturday on his way back from an engagement. The singer who is now receiving treatment in an hospital yet to be disclosed is known for his unique style of music with the way he usually integrate gospel lyrics into circular music.
Lanre Teriba got his break in the year 2000 when he released his first record named ATORISE, and afterwards he has become a reputable gospel musician with his style of music. Lanre Teriba has sang with the new enthroned fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde (K1 de ultimate) Pasuma Sammy Okposo 9ice and other musicians. His new track titled Opa nla is already gaining popularity.
However, the attack on the gospel star further imposed the fright of security strength across the country as well as the level alertness that needs to be put on when traveling inter-state.
