Adamu Garba took to his Twitter page and wrote:
Yoruba’s also descended from Noah’s son Ham, they moved from Canaan to Egypt & were affected by the Exodus of Moses, instead of moving back to Canaan, for fear of racial discrimination, they moved eastward to Mecca where they learnt their gods could be. After sometimes, they Also crossed the red sea & came back to Africa via Sudan.
Before migrating to present day South West Nigeria, the Yoruba stayed in present day Borno/Chad with Kanuri for 500 years, moved to Borgu, spend additional 200 years, before moving westward to Dahomey & Formed Oyo empire"
