5 Nigerian Actors Who You Never Knew Graduated From Royal Arts Academy

Royal arts academy is an institute created to equip aspiring filmmakers with the required skill, craft and knowledge they need to make their nollywood entry less arduous. The institute started with just acting and screen writing classes but with each succeeding session, students poured in increasing numbers from all areas in Nigeria and outside the country, so many course were added which include editing, directing, dance, psychology for acting and aerobics and physical fitness.

Royal arts academy was established in July 2010 by Emem Isong who is a Nigerian screenwriter, producer and director. Emem Isong have discovered various talented actors and actresses in the Nigerian movie industry who are in one way or the other growing the Nigerian movie industry.

Well, like every other career, acting also requires classes and courses to be able to perfect the craft. In the Nigerian entertainment industry, expecially the movie industry, there are many of our favourite actors who you never knew are products of the reputable Royal Arts Academy.

(1) Theresa Edem: Theresa Edem is a Nigerian actress. She was born January 6, 1986 in Uyo, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. She did both her primary and secondary school in Akwa Ibom state. She graduated from the federal university of technology, Owerri where she studied BS.Tech in animal science and technology. Theresa Edem is a graduate of the Royal arts academy.

After Theresa finished her acting at Royal arts academy, she started acting proffessionally in 2012. Her first movie as an actress was tittled The Proposal, she acted alongside top actors like Uche Jombo, Anthony Monjaro, Desmond Elliot and so on.

(2) Lota Chukwu: Lota Chukwu is a Nollywood actress. She was born November 29, 1989 in Nsukka, Enugu state. She studied Agricultural economics ans extension services at the university of Benin. Lota graduated from the Royal arts academy in Lagos, Nigeria where she studied acting.

Lota started her acting career in 2011 with the movie tittled Studio 113. She was brought into the limelight after starring in the popular Nigerian TV series tittied Jenifa Diary. She played the character Kiki in the series.

(3) Rekiya Yusuf: Rekiya Yusuf is a Nigerian actress, host and TV presenter. She was born November 28, 1990 in Kaduna but she hails from Okene part of Kogi state. She graduated from Kogi state university where she obtained a bachelor's degree in microbiology. She also studied acting at Royal arts academy.

Rekiya rose to fame after after playing the character MimI in the TV series tittied Flatmates. In the series she acted alongside the likes of Yaw, Basketmouth, Buchi the comedian and so on. She has starred in numerous movies which includes The Calabash, Spotlight, Drunk In Love and so on. Rekiya has also worked with top actors which includes the likes of Bimbo Ademoye, Efe Irele and so on.

(4) Etinosa Idemudia: Etinosa Idemudia is a Nigerian actress, a social media influencer and film maker. She was born in Warri, Delta State. She graduated from Covenant university where she obtained a bachelor's degree in computer engineering. Etinosa graduated from the Royal arts academy where she obtained a diploma in performing arts.

Her first movie as an actress was tittled A Little White Lies, it was produced by Emem Isong in 2016. Etinosa rose to fame after starring in a hit movie tittled Chairman, she played the character Amanda in the movie. She has feautured in various movies which includes Mentality, Corpershun, Love In The Wrong Places and so on.

(5) Debby Felix: Elawure Deborah Eloghosa who is popularly known as Debby Felix is a Nigerian actress. She was born March 20, 1996 in Edo state, Nigeria. She graduated from Caleb university, Imota, Ogun state where she studied mass communication. She studied acting at Royal arts academy.

Her first movie as an actress was tittled Closer Pictures and Africa Magic commissioned movie tittled Another Time where she acted alongside top actors like Chioma Akpotha, Kalu Ikeagwu, Timini Egbuson and so on. Her outstanding performance in the movie tittled Another Time brought her into the limelight. Debby has starred in so many movies which includes Twin Souls, Obey, To Love Again and so on.
