Some Kannywood actors/actresses have joined the Nollywood industry, and they have featured in several Nollywood movies. Actors like Ali Nuhu, Sani Danja, Yakubu Mohammed, Rahama Sadau, Hadiza Gabon, and others were seen in some of the movies produced by Nollywood's filmmakers.

Just like Kannywood stars, also some Nollywood stars such as Aki and Paw Paw, Mr. Ibu, and others were seen on the Kannywood's screen. And this collaboration between the two parties (Nollywood and Kannywood) can serve as an agent of unity in the country.
1. Rahama Sadau
Rahama Ibrahim Sadau is a Kannywood actress born and raised in Kaduna State. She made her first appearance as an actress in a Kannywood blockbuster movie titled "Gani Ga Wane" in 2013.

The controversial actress also acted in some Nollywood movies alongside Majid Michael, Mercy Jhonson, Hafiz Oyetoro, among others. Her movies include Ajuwaya, Light Will Come, The Sons of Caliphate, Zero Hour, and others.
2. Hadiza Aliyu (Yar Maye)
Hadiza is a Gabon-born Nigerian actress and filmmaker. She is among the top 10 Kannywood actresses whose efforts brought the industry by storm.

3. Maryam Booth
Maryam Booth is another popular Kannywood actress who is also a Nollywood star. The award-winning actress started acting when she was just 8 years old.

In the Nollywood industry, Maryam is well-known for her appearance in a Nollywood movie titled 'Milkmaid' which earned her an award of the best supporting actress at the 2020 Africa Movie Academy Awards.
