Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun(born 16 july,1990),known professionally as Wizkid.Wizkid is a Nigerian Singer and Songwriter.He began recording at the age of 11 and managed to release a collaborative album with the Glorious Five.
Wizkid Signed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment in 2009.He then rose to prominence after releasing "Holla at your boy",the lead single from his debut album.
Wizkid was the first Nigerian Musician to reach a Million followers on Twitter.In 2014,he released his second album titled " Ayo".Wizkid then left EME records label when his contract expired.
Wizkid has a great number of award won locally and internationally.
Wizkid has won the BET Awards on three occasions, The headies on 8 occasions, Nigerian Entertainment Awards on 6 occasions and he has also won the Nigerian Male Artist of the Year alongside many other awards in his career.
Wizkid is a father of three male children with three different mothers(baby mama).One of his sons name is Boluwatife Balogun.
Wizkid is an amazing,talented Artist and we celebrate him today.
