Nigerian highly decorated musician and female celebrity that is making wave in the Nigerian music industry, Yemi Alade has taking to her verified Twitter handle to say something that got her fans reacting very hard.
Yemi Eberechi Alade became more popular in 2009 after she won the peak talent show after which she signed to Effyzzie Music Group and had her hit single "Johnny" in 2014. She has been considered as one of the biggest artistes in Africa since then.
The "Johnny" singer took to her Twitter handle on Wednesday to declare that one day she will be a star.
Below is the screenshot of the tweet
This got many of her fans reacting very hard because Yemi is already considered as a big star that is currently taking over the Afropop music and almost a household name in every Nigerian home. Her fans reacted hilariously believing that the female diva was trying to tease them considering her status in the entertainment industry.
Below are reactions from her fans
I believe Yemi made this post just to amuse her fans. A lady of her status, very famous, rich and taking over Afro pop music is not supposed to make such statement. Many of his fans were just wondering why a big star is wishing to be a star some day.
