Vanguard Newspapers reports that according to Nigerian media star Yeni Kuti, the fact that her spouse had an extramarital affair was not enough for her to divorce him.
She made this comment during a conversation with well-known media figure Chude Jideonwo.
The matriarch of the Anikulapo dynasty claims that despite her late father, Fela, having 27 marriages, her mother never divorced him.
"I won't leave my husband if he is cheating," Yeni declared. I am that. If your own husband is having an affair, you can leave him. Those are you. I'm not judging you, so don't judge me.
"My mother stayed at home while my father had 27 women. Because of one female, I shall now come and go. It is not possible.
If my husband is cheating, I won't leave," Yeni declared. That's me. If your husband is cheating, you can leave him. You are that. I don't judge you, so please don't judge me.
