Ronke began her acting career with a drama group called Star parade under the leadership of Fadeyi, a Nigerian actor. She was shot to fame and recognition in Yoruba movie industry in the year 2000 when she starred in a movie "Oshodi Oke"from which earned her stage name. 
According to the actress, her boobs brought her into the limelight. ” My boobs are one of the things that brought me to limelight in the movie industry.” She once said in an interview with Vanguard.
